This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. FastStation helps you quickly find subway stations nearest to your location and displays upcoming train schedules at those stations, keeping your daily transit routine simple and efficient.
Location data
FastStation uses your location data solely to identify nearby subway stations and provide you with accurate train schedule information. We respect your privacy by ensuring that this data is used strictly within the app for the purpose of proximity-based station discovery. We do not log, store, or retain your location information beyond this temporary usage. Once your station search is complete, your location data is no longer accessible within FastStation.
App activity
FastStation operates without creating long-term records of your location or the stations you check. Information you choose to send through the website’s contact form is handled separately, as described below.
Support and beta testing
When you submit the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, message, selected topic and submission time in a private SQLite database on our server. We use these details to handle your request, reply to your feedback or contact you about Android testing if you selected that topic.
Access to the inbox is password-protected. We may add an internal status and notes while handling a request. You can request deletion by emailing us: [email protected]. Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
The admin area uses an essential session cookie for staff sign-in. It is not used for advertising or visitor tracking.
